Letter says Celestine faster than advertised

In an earlier post, I wrote of Kendrick Celestine, a prep receiver from Louisiana clocking a 4.4 forty-yard dash, hoping to convey he has speed, even faster than more highly-regarded verbal Markques Simas out of California.

That was a catalyst for an email from Lawrence Kochis, who set me straight.

Just a note on your article about the two WRs commit.  Celestine ran
a laser timed 4.40 40 at Baton Rouge.  This is equivalent to a hand
held time of 4.2,  Just wanted to make a point on his speed.


Well, running a 4.4 is fast, very fast. If Celestine is 4.2, well, whew. Now if he can only run good routes
and catch the ball, CU is in business.
