"We just said we're going to play them (regardless of down and distance)," Collins said. "Those two guys need to be on the field."
Why am I trying to shake off cobwebs wondering if I'm slow?
Collins acknowledges that Dizon and Washington have to be on the field yet what happened at Missouri when the two caught some bench time?
A message sent?
While I support coach Dan Hawkins and his staff, as anyone who reads this blog, knows beyond a doubt, Brooks' article makes me shake my head.
Are Dizon and Washignton really that much different mentally or productivity wise now than they were B.M. (Before Missouri)?
At 0-6 and now at 1-6 I believe in this coaching staff. I have not wavered one bit on them being fit for the challenge and that they will get the Buffs rolling in the right direction. What has puzzled me, however, are decisions like playing mind games with Dizon and Washington and Hugh Charles, amongst the better players on the team, punishing them by limiting field time when it is clear those men need to be exploited.
that's right, exploited
by being made to play every minute their lungs and heart can take.
All three of those players have proved, the more you play them, the more good things happen.
Hmmm....
